Taylor Weathers
Taylor Weathers is the Onsite Field Coordinator (OFC) for the Western-Central Region, which includes basins in Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado. He attended the University of Memphis for undergrad and grad school and graduated with a M.S. in Earth Sciences in 2019. He worked in various environmental consulting roles before joining Terra Guidance as an onsite mudlogger in June 2022. Taylor has been a part of numerous projects in the DJ, Powder River, and Uinta basins. He has logged over 40 wells in the region. He also has experience with geosteering and logging of the Middle Bakken in the Williston basin. He took on the role of OFC in June 2023 and currently provides a combination of skills including well logging, onsite geosteering, and general staff support for the region.
Taylor currently lives in Rapid City, South Dakota with his wife, Caroline, and their two cats (Walter and Clover). When not at work, he enjoys hiking, rockhounding, gaming, and taking trips to visit historic sites, national monuments, and parks.
